AMCAT 2016 exam Pattern: This exam have compulsory and optional module. In compulsory student need to attempt all question and In optional module student can choose 1 or more module form the given module. There is no negative marking in the exam.

Compulsory module:
English Comprehension
Quantitative Ability
Reasoning and Logical Ability

Optional modules:
Basics of Computer Maintenance & Usage
Computer Programming Principles & Application
Electronics & Semiconductor
Time Duration: The duration of exam depend on module choose by students.

AMCAT Exam syllabus for Quantitative Ability:

Number of Questions:
For Engineering Graduates: 25 questions
For MBA and General Graduates: 16 Questions

Module Duration:
For Engineering Graduates: 35 min
For MBA and General Graduates: 16 min

The Quantitative Ability subject will cover topic in the exam as follows:

Logarithms
Power
HCF and LCM, Divisibility
Word Problem: Profit, Interest, Inverse
Numbers, Decimal Fractions
Permutations and Combinations, Probability

English Syllabus:
Number of Questions: 25
Module Duration: 25 min

The English subject will cover topic in the exam as follows:

Synonyms/Antonyms/Word Meaning (Vocabulary)
Spot error/Correct sentence (Grammar/sentence construction)
Complete the Sentence (Grammar)
Questions based on passage (Comprehension skills)
Sentence Ordering (Comprehension skills)

AMCAT Exam syllabus for Logical Ability:

 Number of Questions: 24
Module Duration: 35 min

The Logical Ability subject will cover topic in the exam as follows:

Analogy Pattern Recognition
Puzzles, Logical word sequence
Classification Pattern RecognitionCoding Pattern Recognition
Selection decision table
Number Series Pattern Recognition
Data sufficiency
Direction sense, Blood relations, CDL
Objective reasoning

AMCAT Computer Test Detailed Syllabus:

Number of Questions: 23
Module Duration: 20 min
