Job Description	Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) is a Statutory Organization under Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. Educational Qualification	1. Scientist–‘B’ : : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or Institution in Civil/Chemical/Environmental 2.Junior Scientific Assistant:  A degree in science with 4 years of experience in the line, preferably in pollution control or related subjects 3. Senior Technician: 06 Posts Diploma in Instrumentation (04 posts) / Diploma in Electronic (01 post)/ Diploma in Mechanical (01 post) Desirable: one-year experience in the relevant field. 4.Data Entry Operator (Grade-II): 02 Posts (a) 12th standard pass or equivalent, from a recognized Board / University (b) should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for Data Entry work 5. Junior Technician: 02 Posts (a) 10thclass pass from a recognized Board/ Institution (b) Certificate from ITI in Mechanical trade (c) 3 years of experience in servicing laboratory machines in an organization / institution of repute. 6.Junior Laboratory Assistant: 07 Posts 12thclass pass with Science subjects from a recognized Board / University. Desirable: Degree in Science from the recognized University / Institution. 7. Lower Division Clerk: 13 Posts (a) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University (b) Typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi. 8.Attendant (MTS): 03 Posts : 8th Standard Pass from a recognized school. Desirable: (i) 10th class pass from a recognized school/ Board. (ii) Training in Basic and Refresher course in Home Guards and Civil Defense.

Junior Technician: (Rs. 25,500 - Rs.81,100/-). 6.Junior Laboratory Assistant: (Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200/-) 7. Lower Division Clerk: (Rs. 19,900 - Rs. 63,200/-) 8.Attendant (MTS): (Rs. 18,000 - Rs. 56,900/-)

Selection Process	A Candidate’s admission to the Written Test/Skill/Trade Test / Interview and subsequent process is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the call letter has been issued to the candidate does not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by CPCB. CPCB would be free to reject any application, at any stage of the process, cancel the candidature of the candidate in case it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information/Certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s). If any of these shortcoming(s) is/are detected after appointment in CPCB, their services are liable to be summarily terminated as per rules.
