My Interview Experience: MindTree Recruitment and Aptitude Test

MindTree conducted a placement drive where 160 appeared written test but only 30 selected for technical HR round and finally 18 got selected.

The selection process had four levels of round

1) Technical written: C, C++ 2 rounds
    a) Find o/ps: 15 questions
    b) Write a program: 1 question
2) Essay / Email writing
3) Technical interview
4) HR interview

The placement drive started with a PPT (presentation) talk. As an ETC student being unaware of strong coding; so I was bit nervous in that session although I have already got an offer letter from TCS. The written round started soon after the PPT and 160 set for the written there were 15 questions to find out the o/ps of the program. The questions were barely difficult and very easy just from basic switch statements, recursive function (factorial), while. For loop continue and break statements.

To clear this round some basic and simple concept is all needed.

Some of the other situations I faced including..

1) WAP to reverse each word of a string. Then i was a given a situation in a corporate and the next round was to write an email.

I cleared out the written and I was very happy. And my technical round was very easy they just asked me about my projects for 10 minutes and my branch subjects, and I was asked to elaborate the answer in the written test.

They just asked me basic C, C++ concepts. My technical interview lasted for 20 minutes.
I was selected for the next HR round.

I was confident of the HR round.they just asked me

1) Introduce your self?
2) Why etc?
3) Why join Mindtree?
4) Why should Mindtree recruit you?
5) If you will not be given offer letter then what will you feell?

And finally I succeeded on impressing the HRs and at the end of the interview the HR told me welcome to MindTree and that moment was the happiest day of my career.

Happy that I was one of 18 selected out of 160

Do prepare well
All the best!
See you @ MindTree
