Skill Sets: Linux Cluster Admin
Primary Skills:
*Clustering Linux / VERITAS
*Patch Management
*Migration from Physical Server to Virtual (P2V)
*Knowledge on Oracle Virtual Manager
Required Skills:
*Perform trend performance analysis of CPU/Memory/ Disk Utilization for Critical Servers.
*Perform Patch implementation and maintenance.
*Plan any high level technical execution such as Linux patch implementation, Storage Migration etc
*Knowledge & Experience on Shell scripting.
*Good experience on REDHAT 5.x, 6.x. System Administration
*Configuring/Troubleshooting LVM, NFS, NIS, DNS, Multi-Pathing, EMC Powerpath, RAIDMAN, Load Balancer, Performance Monitoring)
*Veritas Volume Manager & Veritas Netbackup
*Configuration/Troubleshooting Experience on SUSE Cluster/REDHAT Cluster Suite
*Must be able to manage time effectively and to deliver on commitments
*Excellent Verbal/Written Communication skill
*ITIL V3 Trained/Certified
*Experience in managing 24x7 production support and Projects
*Must be able to manage time effectively and to deliver on commitments
*Must be able to operate well in a team environment and when under pressure
*Drive problem resolution to root cause
*Implement best practices and procedures for key Unix Technologies
*Interact with different business units/groups and be the face of the Unix Team
Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech / Any Graduates
