Hewlett-Packard (HP) Recruitment Software Engineers (Entry Level) - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


Provides operational support, incident and problem resolution within the UNIX/Linux and Storage environments. Ensures secure operation of all UNIX/Linux servers, storage systems and services though the use of security tools and technologies

Skills Required: Unix Storage Administrator
• Requires UNIX Systems Administration experience in at least one of the following UNIX systems: IBM, SUN or HP. Experience must be concurrent and include basic working knowledge of UNIX, NIS, DNS, network configuration on local hosts, NFS, plus shell programming experience.
• Possess a strong background in the UNIX OS, preferably with AIX -5L
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux system and program installation, compilation and configuration; system-level security procedures, familiarity with cryptography tools (e.g. secure shell, gpg/pgp)
• Strong Knowledge in LPAR & DLPAR
• Experience in HACMP and GPFS administration
• Experience is Handling IBM Storage Server systems
• Strong experience in Tivoli Storage Manager
• Strong knowledge in Enterprise System Management Products
• Expert Knowledge in IBM Tivoli Management Suite (Tivoli Enterprise Console, Tivoli Monitoring, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Tivoli Configuration Manager etc ..)
• Good knowledge in Networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, Switching, Load balancing
Work Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Education Qualification: BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration or related field required
