UPSC Combined Engineering Services Exam 2014

                                                                    











UPSC Engineering Service Examination 2014 notification released on 22nd March 2014. A combined competitive examination for recruitment of following Engineering Services /Posts will be held by UPSC commencing on 20th June 2014. The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the Engineering Services Exam is expected to be approximately 582 including 24 PH vacancies.  Engineering Graduates Apply Online through ORA Website on or before 21st April 2014.

Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years as on 01/01/2014. (i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1984 and not later than 1st January, 1993.) 

Age Relaxation - 05 Years for SC/ST; 03 Years for OBC. Age Relaxation for others as per Govt Rules.

Educational Qualification: A Degree in Engineering (Required Field / Discipline) from a recognized University / Institute.  [B.E. / B.Tech / or equivalent]

Selection Process: Written Examination, Personality Test. The written Examination will comprise two sections—Section I consisting only of objective types of questions and Section II of conventional papers. Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering disciplines viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

Application Fee: Rs.200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. No fee for Female/SC/ST/PH candidates.
