Medical Standards:
(i) Height - Minimum 157 cms. Reduction in height for the candidates from
hilly and tribal areas will be in accordance with Govt. guidelines.
(ii) Weight - Proportionate to height and age.
(iii) Hearing - Normal.
(iv) Visual Standard - 6/6 (Normal Eye) and 6/9, 6/12 (With Spectacles). Defective colour vision (Colour Blindness) NOT accepted.
Application Fee: Rs.1000/- for General (UR) and OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC & ST candidates, excluding NEFT bank charges. The fee pay through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) and obtain UTR number from respective bank immediately after fees deposited.
Selection Process: Online Examination and Interview
At the time of Personnel Interview, candidate should be in possession of Original valid documents like:
1. SSC/HSC Passing Certificate which indicates D.O.B and 50% marks in English language (Either 10th or 12th standard.)
2. Four Year Degree Certificate in Marine-Engineering (B.E. in Marine-Engineering /B.Tech. in Marine-Engineering /B.Sc. in Marine Engineering) with minimum 50% marks in final year.
3. MEO CL IV Part A Certificate (EXN-45).
4. Valid Passport (PP).
5. Valid Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC).
6. INDOS No Certificate,.
7. Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
8. STCW Certificates with STSDSD.
9. Tanker familiarization courses certificates (Oil/Chemical/Gas).
10. Endorsement certificates.
11. Police Clearance Certificate.
12. Caste Certificate for reserve category candidates.
13. Caste Validity Certificate etc.
14. Passport size photograph - 10 nos.
