Job Description:  Verizon Job Openings for Software Engineers - On Oct 2015 for Chennai location.

Skill Sets:  Specialist - System Development (Web Technologies)
  1. Strong fundamentals with hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technology based web application development
  2. Experience in Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Jquery, LESS/ Sass, Bootstrap
  3. In depth knowledge in AngularJS MVW framework
  4. Experience in full stack development
  5. Experience in other JS MVW frameworks like EmberJS, ReactJS, CanJS, BackboneJS will be added advantage.
  6. Oracle PL/SQL Programming
  7. Web services(REST,SOAP),Messaging Framework
  8. Strong knowledge on Unix/Linux OS and vi editor.
  9. Experience in working on Software development life cycle practices - Agile (e.g. Scrum)
  10. Strong knowledge on J2EE design patterns and UI frameworks
  11. Well versed with Apache Tomcat 8.x, Weblogic 10.3 App server or other Application server.

Education:     BE, B.Tech, MCA, ME, M.Tech
