Referral Recruitment Drive at Birlasoft 2015 - Inviting for Guidewire Tester - BE, BTech, MCA

Job Role: 
 Guidewire Tester

COE - Testing




Roles & Responsibility
  • Candidate must have Insurance domain experience specifically in Guidewire Policy Center
  • Should have worked on integration of Guidewire Policy Center with other Guidewire component e.g. GW Billing Center and GW Claim Center
  • Must have worked in core Insurance testing area for more than 1 year
  • Prepare Test estimation and review with respective Project POC's
  • Responsible for creating test cases / test data matching the requirement
  • Review the Test cases/Test data with stakeholder for signoff
  • Perform Test case execution & log defects
  • Participate in defect triaging and provide data justification on the defects
  • Escalate any application/project issues  in a timely manner
  • Domain knowledge: Concept of Risk and Types, Basic characteristics of Insurance, Principals of Insurance, Types of Insurance, Concepts of Reinsurance, Insurance Industry Overview .     
  • Very good understanding of testing processes and concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Skills:
  • Good Communication skills
  • Good Presentation skills
