Job Description:Syntel Ltd Mega Drive for Software Engineers On 14th Feb 2015 for Pune location.

Skill Sets:


Informatica
1)6-8 years of sound Technical experience on Informatica as a technical lead
2) Should have experienced in designing Informatica Maps and Workflows using different databases and files
3) Should have hands on experience in defining ETL architecture
4) Should have worked on improve in the performance of ETl rutines in Informatica Verson 9x
5) Should have worked in oracle/SQL Server/Terdata as source/traget systems
6) Lead team of 6-8 resources in earlier projects
7) Excellent communication skill mandatory
8) Agile awareness is preferred

Cognos
  1. Minimum 5-6 years IT experience - 3.5+ years of experience in Cognos BI, Database concept
  2. Essential knowledge of ETL, SDLC process, Good communication
  3. Experience Working with Cognos BI: Report Studio , Query Studio , Analysis Studio, Metric studio,
  4. Event studio, SDK, Power play Transformer, Framework manager, Access Manager and Decision Stream / Additional skills on ETL and Cognos Planning.
  5. Experience working with various database: DB2, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server 2005, Teradata .
  6. Should have very good communication skills and analytical skills
  7. Should have hands-on experience in Cognos v7.x and 8.x
  8. Should have knowledge of BI and Data Warehousing concepts and OLAP design knowledge.
  9. Should have experience Developing, Maintaining and enhancing the Cognos Reports.
  10. Analyzing the reports and optimizing the performance of the reports.
  11. Should have created Cognos 8 framework manager packages with relational & dimensional models
Education: Any Graduates, BE, B.Tech, MCA
